Can you guess why I’m over the top happy today?
Not because we’re halfway through the week (although today is my Thursday) and not because I’m going to see my favorite singer in the world this weekend.
But because we finally get to MOVE IN to our place tonight which means no more air mattresses, paper plates or caveman living for me!
Perhaps I’m being a little dramatic there, but… I’m more than ready to be settled in our place and unpack. As of right now, almost all of our stuff is in the garage behind our house, just waiting for us to unpack it all tonight after work.
We just have to swing by our old apartment to pick up Nick’s motorcycle and drive it to the new house, pack the random stuff we’ve been using over the last five days and pick up Bentley and we will be good to go. Then we can unpack all of our stuff from the garage and start getting settled in!
I’m more than ready to get the show on the road! My life lately has consisted of a lot of these…
I have, however, been able to sneak in a workout every day, and it’s really been helping me stay calm throughout this process. Last night after I cleaned for a while, I headed to the gym for a 30 minute run followed by a quick little circuit I made up on the spot.
I initially planned on doing this for time, but forgot to keep track after the second time around. It was a nice way to end my workout-and can be done just about anywhere! That makes it really convenient for those who are moving…just saying.
Sorry for the quick post, but I just wanted to check in and share my quick little workout with you all. Hopefully life will become a lot less chaotic after tonight, so I will be back in regular blogging mode tomorrow!
