Good morning and happy Friday!
It’s been a long week. I am so happy that it’s finally Friday. I’m really looking forward to the weekend even though there isn’t anything too exciting going on. Nick is out of town until next Saturday so it’s just me and the blondie for a while.
He even kinda sorta slept with me last night. He’s not allowed to sleep in our bed but when Nick’s gone, I tend to make exceptions. Bentley is also the most cuddly dog in the world and who can resist laying in bed with essentially a 65 pound teddy bear? Not me.
Since Nick is going to be gone this weekend, I’m going to try to use the time to be really productive. I also pushed this morning’s workout to today after work because 1) I’m leaving work early and 2) I wanted to sleep in. Since I’ve been working on restoring my metabolism, I’ve been so tired. Robyn told me this would happen and said it’s completely normal but man…I feel like I did after I ran my half-marathon. Looking forward to sleeping in a little bit tomorrow morning before I take my first hot yoga class in almost two weeks!
Here’s what I’ve got planned for this weekend:
- Saturday morning hot yoga
- Finishing unpacking my clothes from our move & organizing our closet
- 5 mile run
- Dog park with Bentley
- Whipping up a few new recipes for a local food blogger challenge I’m participating in
- Farmer’s market
- Baking some more pumpkin recipes!
I’m already counting down to 4:00. See ya tomorrow!
