Heeeeeeeeeeeeelllo! Happy New Year’s Eve! I am finally back in sunny Florida, soaking up the sun and the love from my little blondie.
Anyways, I’m back! And boy, it feels so good to be home. It was so fun to be home in Maryland with our families and friends, but Orlando is home now. I missed our house, our own space and obviously, our dog. I missed our gym, my car and even my office. You know you’re an adult when…
So my flight was overbooked yesterday and I ended up getting back in town around 3 yesterday. I was supposed to get back at 9:30 and go to work, but plans changed and so I worked from BWI Airport and then flew from Baltimore to Rochester, New York to Orlando. By the time I landed, I was so tired of sitting down and just wanted to move. After I got home and reunited with Bentley, I headed straight to the gym. Nothing too fancy for me, just 40 minutes on the elliptical and a tough arm workout that I will be sharing later this week.
Once I got home, I went to the grocery store, cleaned up and then tackled the daunting task of unpacking with my shadow.
I ended up crashing around 10 and woke up ready for an early workout until I decided to run outside after work today. Today is the first run of my half-marathon training! Well, hopefully. More on that later!
In other news, it’s officially time to count down to my 25th birthday. One month from today, I will enter my mid-20’s and a quarter-life crisis will follow. Just kidding. I’m hoping 25 will be my best year yet.
Tonight Nick gets back around 7 and we have plans to go to a house party with some of our friends down here. I’m going to be avoiding downtown at all costs. Actually, let’s be honest– I’m just hoping I can stay up past midnight. I have so much more to say and talk about but I’m seriously swamped with work since I was out of the office for the last 10 days.
Talk to you next year!
