Good morning! I’m back from a brief blogging hiatus and am so happy to be back. I took a little break while working on my blog makeover, which I absolutely love and owe all of the credit to the fabulous Jenny from PB & Jenny. She is an incredibly talented girl and was patient enough to deal with my picky-ness and inability to put my ideas into words. Somehow she knew exactly what I was looking for and I couldn’t be happier with the new look of the blog!
While I was away from blog-world, things were pretty standard around here. Lots of work, lots of exercise, lots of good food. I will spare you all and not recap every day since last Wednesday (you’re welcome) so here are some highlights from this weekend. Regular blogging will resume tomorrow!
Saturday morning hot yoga followed by a soy iced coffee and green smoothie.
Lots of fruit and yogurt bowls. Summer is in full swing down here and there is nothing better than cold fruit and creamy Greek yogurt.
And of course, I began this morning with another green smoothie. Almost halfway through Jen’s Green Smoothie Challenge and still going strong!
I had a pretty stressful day yesterday, so I didn’t even think about waking up early this morning to get to the gym. I needed to sleep and relax so today after work, I will be hitting the gym for some HIIT and strength training. I’m also planning on going home on my lunch break to take Bentley for a nice long walk. I’ve started doing that lately and love it. The weather is gorgeous down here and it’s nice to step away from my desk and break up the work day a little bit. Have a fabulous Monday!
